The images of Armenia presented in the gallery were taken in October, 2011, and are selected samples from the thousands of the born digital photographs of the various sites in this collection, including ancient architecture from the Roman Imperial era, Armenian Christian architecture from antiquity through the 19th century, traditional domestic architecture and urbanization as well as the city of Yerevan. There are also hundreds of images of ancient manuscripts in the new museum at Yerevan. Various historic Christian and Muslim sites in Nogorno Karabagh were also documented.
