The images presented in the gallery were taken in September, 2011, and are selected samples from the thousands of the born digital photographs of various sites in Wroclaw and Cracow with special attention to the old main squares and brick Gothic religious architecture of those cities. Of note in Wroclaw are the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, the Church of St. Elizabeth, the university with its splendid Aula Leopoldina and Church of the Holy Name of Jesus. In Cracow in addition to the constellation of richly ornamented churches, including the Church of St. Mary and the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, special attention was given to documenting the Jewish Quarter and its many historic synagogues and Museum of Jewish History within the Old Synagogue itself. The Joseph Mehoffer Museum was photographed inside and out. Comprehensive documentation of the concentration camp at Aushwitz is also part of this collection.
